Tour Summary

A relaxed 3‑day road trip exploring the highlights of Tajima and the northern Kyoto coast.

Day 1 focuses on the atmosphere of Kinosaki Onsen – walking the historic canal streets, visiting bathhouses, riding the ropeway, and ending the day with an onsen and dinner in town.

Day 2 is a scenic coastal journey to Amanohashidate and Ine, two of the most beautiful seaside destinations in the region, combining classic viewpoints, shrines, and a boat tour around the famous funaya boat houses.

Day 3 slows the pace with a local Toyooka experience – visiting Genbudo basalt caves, the Oriental White Stork Park, and the historic castle town of Izushi before returning to Toyooka.

This itinerary mixes nature, local culture, food, and small‑town atmosphere, offering a balanced introduction to the Tajima region through the perspective of Bean JP, your local guide in Toyooka.

Day 1 – Kinosaki Onsen Exploration

12:00 – Pick up friend at hotel

12:30 – Lunch in Kinosaki Onsen (restaurant TBD)

13:30 – Start Kinosaki walking / electric cart tour

• Rent electric cart at Tourist Information Center (in front of Kinosaki Station)

Tour stops:

• Ichino‑yu bathhouse
• Gosho‑no‑yu bathhouse
• Kobayashiya Ryokan (short introduction + photos)
• Walk through main onsen street
• Photo spots around the canal and willow trees

15:00 – Ropeway to Mount Daishi

• Visit Onsenji Temple
• Walk around observation deck

15:45 – Coffee break at café on top of the mountain

• View of Sea of Japan
• View of Kinosaki town

16:30 – Return ropeway

17:00 – Return electric cart

17:15 – Onsen experience

Day 2 – Amanohashidate & Ine Day Trip

09:45 – Arrive Amanohashidate

10:00 – Cable car / chairlift to Amanohashidate Viewland

12:30 – Lunch / coffee break at Cafe du Pin

13:30 – Visit Motoise Kono Shrine

14:30 – Ferry back across the bay

• Start the morning slowly after an early previous day

• Walk around observation area

16:00 – Return to Hotel Morris Toyooka
